Three Builders That Use Aerial Photography
By ATM in Careers | 0 comments

When a large-scale construction project is going to be developed, it is necessary to spend a lot of time figuring out how to make the best use of the land on which the project will stand. Many different methods are used to do this but the most common across different building sectors is the use of aerial photography.
There are three basic groups of construction companies which rely on the use of aerial photography tools (such as photogrammetry) to make sure that what they’re building makes sense on the land. These three groups are:
- Private construction companies. Nobody wants to be involved in a lawsuit so they look closely at landscape images before doing any work.
- City builders. Whenever municipal areas are going to be constructed or altered, it is important to take a look at the big picture. Literally.
- Environmental groups. Whenever a project is planned, whether its private or municipal, there will be environmental groups that want to look at the plans to determine what the impact of the development will be.
Aerial photos can offer a big picture perspective to builders. This helps them to plan for any problems in advance which saves time, money and destruction to the earth.
