Why is Should a Doctor or Dentist Need Disability Insurance?

As a successful practicing doctor or dentist, you have worked hard to get where you are today and it will be a wise decision to protect it as best as possible. Long hours of extensive training and education are worth more than just money, it is also valuable time that you have put into your practice. Having a sufficient amount of dentist disability insurance or physician disability insurance is crucial to protecting the things that you have worked so hard to achieve.

The type of disability insurance for physician coverage should conform to your needs, as well as cover you for the entire time of your recovery, physically and financially. In order to ensure that you will be able to continue your practice after you recover you should be sure that you have a residual disability rider. This is an excellent way for you to recover from the financial hardship of having been off work and it will pay you benefits until you are fully financially recovered with no time restraints.

Making sure that your policy has an own occupation disability insurance coverage that will define your disability by the type of work that you do in your job and whether you can continue to do the specialty occupation that you once had. Even if you are employed somewhere else, the benefits will continue, because of the specification in the language of your disability policy.

What Does That ‘https’ in My Browser Address Bar Mean?

moto processing

You may have noticed that sometimes, instead of the regular ‘http’ in your browser address bar, it says ‘https’ instead.  You may have also noticed that when it does, there is a little padlock symbol down at the bottom of your browser window, too.

But what exactly does this ‘https’ mean?

Basically, it means that the web page you are on is secure, and you can transmit sensitive information without worrying about someone else on the Internet having access to it.  Many banks, online payment processing services, and websites with account sign-in pages use this technology to protect customer information.

But what exactly makes the page secure?  Pages with an address that starts with ‘https’ use a technology called SSL, which stands for Secure Sockets Layer, in order to protect the information being transmitted.  The data is then encrypted before being sent to the recipient — and only the recipient has the key to unlock and restore the data.

This is different than what is called ‘Secure http’ or s-http, which simply creates a secure connection between the user and the server, thereby eliminating any chance of anyone hacking into the information.  However, this method has also been approved for things like card payment processing online.

If you are entering highly sensitive data into a web page, always make sure the page is secure before you do so.  These technologies are made to protect you from data theft online, but they don’t work if you don’t know enough to look for them!

Two kids graduating at once

I have been searching high and low without rest for college diploma frames because my two kids both graduate this year from their respective colleges. They are not the same age, but one of the kids, my son, his name is Daniel, took two years to travel the world before he set down to go to college. My daughter, whose name is Brittany, on the other hand graduated high school a semester early and wanted to go straight into her first year of college and has been very successful. It is so neat to see how to kids from the same family can choose to take such different paths.

Daniel enjoyed his travels very much and they became and have remained a major part of who he is. He traveled every place that you could possibly imagine. He went to places like Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Ethiopia, Ireland, Scotland, England, the Netherlands, Chile, China, Sri Lanka, Russia, the Ukraine, and on and on. As you can see it was quite an eclectic mix of places. For her part, Brittany was active in a number of things on campus as well. For their own accomplishments, I want to find them each the perfect college diploma frame for their special day.

Improving My Blog Positioning

BlogI have a website that I use for a personal blog.  For over a year now, I was regularly updated my blog, but my blog was not getting a decent position on the web search engines.  I then started working for a guy that ran a San Diego SEO company that ran several blogs across the internet.  I discovered that his blogs were at the top of the search engines consistently depending on the keywords used.  When I asked him about it, I discovered it was due to SEO optimization.

For those that don’t know, SEO is short for search engine optimization.  With SEO, a webmaster is trying to make his site relevant enough to a search engine to earn a top ranking.  There are many different things that webmasters can do, such as focusing on certain industry related keywords, that can help improve their site ranking.

The guy I work for offers a SEO package to other businesses to try and improve their web ranking.  The only caveat to this offer is that the site cannot conflict with his industry, which happens to be poker.  Normally that is not an issue.

As a result of working for this guy, I have taken the tricks learned and have improved the ranking of several of my posts.  In fact, a few have been at the top of Google for specific keywords.  I wish I would have learned this sooner.

Does Your Diet Affect School Work?

When people talk about educational performance, they often focus on study habits, the student’s home life, and the effectiveness of the teacher. However, they fail to examine one crucial aspect of the student’s performance—their diet. It’s true. What a student eats directly affects his or her performance in the classroom.

If a student is lacking a single nutrient, studies have shown it can impair their ability to think correctly. The right foods help you focus better, and they act as fuel for your brain. Junk foods, on the other hand, are like pouring sugar in your gas tank. They cause serious mental performance problems.

So, why is all of this true? It’s because your brain is highly complex. It needs the right amounts of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, and amino acids to function at its peak level.

That’s why every student should watch what they eat. This is especially true in college during finals week. Students often study for long periods of time, eat junk food on the go, and end up crashing come test time. Whether you’re getting a school counseling degree or a business administration degree, you need to monitor your diet and always eat healthy foods. culinard
